                         SEASON 1

The first season of Voyager was shown Monday nights at 7pm CT/MT, 8pm ET/PT. Caretaker, the pilot episode, was shown as a two-hour block on January 16, 1995, and launched the United-Paramount Network (UPN). Unlike previous series pilots, "Caretaker" was never shown as two one-hour episodes, and was repeated complete.

The season premiere, on September 3, was preceded by a repeat of last season's finale. Episodes were shown Wednesdays at 9pm ET/PT, 8pm CT/MT from the start of the season to "Scientific Method", and starting in November, they moved an hour earlier to 8pm ET/PT, 7pm CT/MT. The show was moved "to focus on younger viewers and families", but ironically the first episode shown at the earlier time was "Year of Hell", which is definitely not a family show.
